Interested in fly fishing for Trout? Then we might just be the club for you, whether new to the sport of fly fishing or a seasoned veteran you'll be made very welcome.

Founded in 1958 by the anglers of Bearsden and Milngavie, we are a friendly and informal bunch passionate about the pursuit of Trout fishing. Our home water is 'Loch Humphrey' which nestles in the Kilpatrick hills, not far from Old Kilpatrick itself.

We occassionally stock the water but one of our best kept secrets is the head of naturalised trout the loch now supports. When a hatch is on of a summers evening the 'rise' has to be seen to be believed!

Traditional loch style fishing prevails typically from the bank although there is a 12' boat and boathouse should members wish to try their luck on open water. The use of outboards is currently not permitted on the loch.
